from numerous areas of Greater Victoria's labour market
came together to provide their knowledge, feedback
and direction in the development of EmploymentVictoria.com.
This committee has now agreed to continue to provide
support throughout the duration of the pilot year,
March 2005. The Greater Victoria Economic Development
Commission would like to take this opportunity to
thank these committee members for their involvement,
time and commitment to success. Their input has been

| The Greater Victoria
Economic Development Commission was created to support
and develop local employment and economic initiatives.
The Commission is a recognized authority on today’s
business and economic trends, and tomorrow’s
opportunities and regional concerns.
The Commission oversees a variety
of major local programs and initiatives that address
regional economic challenges and opportunities. We
pride ourselves on working in the community, bringing
leaders together to develop innovative solutions.
With two offices in the region
and more than two-dozen full-time professional staff,
the Commission provides a wide range of economic services
and benefits including three workforce related programs
in cooperation with Service Canada.
